Roger Vargason

Sergeant
Metro Vice, Narcotics & Intelligence Division, Colorado Springs Police Department

Sergeant Vargason is currently assigned to the Metro Vice, Narcotics, and Intelligence Division (MVNI). Metro Vice, Narcotics and Intelligence is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force designated to investigate, control, and prevent the illegal sale, possession, and/or manufacturing of illegal narcotics and/or controlled substances.

The team is also tasked with investigating and eradicating illegal marijuana grow operations throughout El Paso County and Teller County. In addition, his team investigates prescription fraud cases and liquor violations throughout the Pikes Peak region.

Will Thomas

Chapter Governor for the Western Region
CPCU Society

Will joined USAA in 1997 in San Antonio, TX and has worked in a variety of leadership positions.  Will holds a B.B.A degree in Marketing from Texas Tech University. He also holds the CPCU and CPM professional designations.

Will is currently serving in his 3rd year as a CPCU Society Chapter Governor for the Western Region and he also serves as a Managing Chapter Governor. Prior to his current role as Chapter Governor, he served in a number of leadership roles in the Arizona CPCU Society Chapter including President, Treasurer, Secretary, Candidate Development Co-Director and I Day Committee member.   

John E. Putnam, CPCU, ARM

John has worked 48 years in our business including time as a Claims Representative, Systems Procedures Analyst, P&C Agent; and Independent Insurance Agency Owner/Officer.  Currently, John is an insurance consultant/broker/teacher who provides the following insurance related services:

 

  • Workers Compensation claims management services;

  • Insurance broker/agent for a medium sized law firm and large school district; and

  • A wide range of insurance continuing and professional education courses.
